Over the past 28 years Gibsons Dance Centre (Formerly Dance Works Academy) has awarded $200,000.00+ in scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to many families, who due to financial or extenuating circumstances, cannot otherwise afford their performing arts training. The awarding of full and partial scholarships is decided by a panel of 5 members. GDC makes every effort to award as many scholarships as are needed.
We host many fundraisers throughout the year to enable us to support as many aspiring dancers as we can. This year we are sponsoring 12 young dancers.
