    Competition Team - 2026 / 2027 Registration

    NOTE: Each Age Level has sub groups of teams within them based on dancers individual technique levels.  Some students may be recommended to move to a higher level team in a older age group if their technique is at a higher level.  Auditions will determine your dancers most appropriate placement for both their age and technical level. 
    ​DISCLAIMER FOR GROUP DANCES: For groups dances students may or may not be placed in the style or level they prefer.  This decision is based on multiple factors with collective teams optimization in mind.  Students preferences are taken into consideration and if the desired level or dance style is not suitable for this year the GDC team will advise on tools and options for helping dancers reach their goals in coming seasons.  All of this information will be given to you prior to committing to your groups for the season. 

    DISCLAIMER FOR SOLOS, DUOS & TRIOS:  Solo style placement is at the discretion of the director.  For students wanting competitive solos, the style or styles most suited for the highest level of personal success by the dancer is what will be chosen by the director and choreographers.   The commitment by dancers and their families in not underestimated by GDC and we wish to optimize your investment by giving them the best possible advantage for personal success. Student preferences are of course taken into consideration but they are not the deciding factor.  Artistic only solos are an option for students interested in a non competitive option in a style they may not be cleared to compete in just yet. All options will be discussed with you before you commit to your solo or solos for the season.   DUOS & TRIOS have them same parameters as solos with the addition of preferences of dancing partners by students being considered by the director but are not the deciding factor.  Suitability for competitive duos and trios partnering has many factors to consider and will be discussed with interested dancers before you choose to commit to your duos or trios for the season. 

Can't Make the Audition Date?: If you are unable to attend the auditions in person on June 9th but are still interested in participating, please fill in the registration form and let us know in the comment section that you would like information on a alternate option to audition.
